I just bought a 2000 windstar feb 12. i noticed jumping like i was driving over rail road tracks when i reached 40-45. Then when i stopped and got to around 10 it jerked and then again when i completly stopped. I took it to a mechanic who said it was the tie rods and back motor mount in which he fixed. I got it back yesterday and today it started jumping worse. Really hard. I am hoping that it is not the transmission but the other mechanic i took it to said he didnt see any problems with it. I still have the same problems I had before I took it to be fixed.
