1996 Ford Thunderbird over heating

I recently changed the intake manifold gasket and was running ok until the engine started to overheat. I barely made it to the gas station and could not start it anymore. I checked the spark plugs and found sighns of water on the spark plug. would there still be a problem with the intake manifold gasket or could there be a problem with something else? how would i know?

Hi there,

If you have water in the engine i would be checking the manifold gasket for faulty water cross over sealing or a defective or incorrect gasket. I would also have a head check done just to eliminate a head gasket problem as well.
