Brakes problem
1996 Ford Thunderbird 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 158,00 miles

I have a 1996 Ford Thunderbird. I have a problem with my brake lights. I only have rear brake lights when I press on the brake pad hard. Light or moderate pressure of brake pad will produce no brake lighting whatsover. I've checked all fuses and brake light bulbs. Can anyone suggest what may be causing this condition. A possible switch problem somewhere? Any help would be appreciated.
