My headlights go off by themselves. Turning them off and back on works but they will go off again sometimes. I think it is the switch (wiggling it a bit also turns them back on). How do I remove and replace the pull type switch. I hope it does not entail removing the dash!

I had this same problem on a 1993 Cobra when I ran it with the high beams on. For me it was the actual switch overheating.

I am pretty sure you have to remove the dash to get the switch out. I have a 94 Thunderbird now and I know you have to on this one. It isn't too bad, two bolts on the bottom and something like 6 screws and it all pops off.

Have fun,
Ryan
