I have a 1994 Ford Temo and I have to keep refilling the Transmission fluid almost every 3-7 days and the car slips going into second. Will this just be a seal leak or could it be something more serious? The problem has been happening for about 5 months now but is slowly getting worse. It is costly to have it repaired?

If it's slipping in any gear, have the computer read, if you don't have a scanner, the local parts stores usually do it for free. Most trans codes, if you have one, will not show up as a check engine light, at least on obdI which you have, as far as a seal leaking, where is it coming from, must be pretty wet if you're adding that much fluid. Depending on what it is, trans may have to be pulled, in which case the slip issue should also be addressed, is it worth the $$, that's dependent on you and your opinion of the car. Recently I just dropped 1800 dollars for a trans rebuild and a few associated parts, mounts. Engine seal, for my 94 Taurus, which was in excellent condition with relatively low miles, was extremely irritated that the trans went early, especially since Ford knows there are several issues with the ax4s trans.
