Trouble Code Question

I have a 95 Ford Taurus SHO, 3.2L, Auto Transmission, 135K miles on it.
When I check the scan the PCM for codes it spits
out: 636 - Transmission Oil Temperature (TOT) sensor out of range - Transmissions.
Then it flashes 111 - System OK.
Is this normal?

What do I have to do to fix the problem? Do I need a new transmission? Is it easy enough to fix myself?
Where would it be located?

Please help me.

The transmission temperature sensor is either failing, it's connection is bad. Or it's wiring is bad. Check the tranny lines to the rad for restrictions.

Good luck and let us know. :)
