I have a 98 Taurus, about 150,000 miles on it.

My problem is that I have no heat or AC. The air blows out, but it is the same temperature when on both settings. If I've been driving around for a while and turn on the heat, it will get slightly warmer, but it is still cold. The AC never gets cooler though.

What's up with that?

The no heat can be a blocked heater core, especially in these cars, no a/c does the compressor turn on? Start the car, warm it to operating temp, then give a quick feel to both heater hoses going into the firewall, Are both the same and real hot? Temp blend door is stuck! If one is cool and the other hot, blocked heater core! Then turn on the a/c check for compressor engauging
