I have 2003 Ford Taurus and the engine won't start. I started out about a week and a half ago having a little trouble cranking, then it worked fine for a while and then had a little more trouble, until eventually yesterday it just stopped. I've tried replacing the battery but still nothing. When it was having trouble before I still had radio/air/lights inside, and still do with the new battery. However it tries to turn over with a little clicking then just some groaning. My friends and I were thinking starter or alternator, but not sure which.
Thanks,

Could be the starter but you have to rule out the ignition switch/NSS or TRS/starter relay your starting circuit goes thru these things before it gets to the starter.
