Okay, I'm still kinda new to this forum, but thought I'd ask seeing that I got some good feedback before.
Recently, I've noticed that some noise is coming from the serpentine belt area. It does not look too worn out (but don't really know what to look for). My mechanic hasn't said too much. The noise seems to go away when the car is warm, and is much noiser when the car is freshly started.

Any ideas? Additivies that help sqeeky belts. I've heard using WD-40 is a NO-NO on belts, but do they make similar products for noisy belts?

Car Specs: 2001 Ford Taurus SES, 89,500 miles on it.

Thanks!

I have a F350 and my serpentine belt would squeek if the weather was damp or if there was moisture on the belt it self. The warmer the engine got the noise went away. I just replaced the belt because it is kinda imbarrising, and the sqeeking went away.
