98' Ford Taurus lights dim at high RPMs

When the PRM's get between 4k to 5k the lights dim. Headlights, dash lights, radio and the battery light come on but as soon as the trans shifts everything is fine. I don't know it it is related but about 2 months ago the clock never had the right time. Everytime I got in the car I had to set the clock for about a week. Since then the clock is fine. Thanks in advance.

My f-150 did that when I bought it replaced the alternator and everything was fine after that. Have the charging system checked out and make sure it's not the battery and they should be able to let you know what is going on. Most battery places will do the test eitehr free or cheap.
