Noises problem
2007 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 55000 miles

Yesterday on my way to the grocery store I noticed a humming sound. It would get louder as I excelerated and quiter when I didn't excerlate. It became extremely loud when I would turn the wheel to the right or left. Can you tell me what the noise might be, what I should do to get it fixed, and what you think the approximate cost is going to be or should be. I'm a single mom and on an extremely tight budget.
