I have an '06 Ford Taurus. I changed my alternator last week and after my car was making a chirping noise. I thought that the belt was making the noise but apparently it was one of my pulleys. Just yesterday I blew a bearing on the new alternator and had to replace it again. And once again the chirping noise has returned. I'm thinking that the tension on my belt is not right but am having trouble finding info on how to adjust it. I am looking for suggestions on how to do this.
