2005 Ford Taurus Fuel sensor
Electrical problem
2005 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 60,000 miles
the check engine light has came on, and the car has been burning more gasoline. I do not have the exact code that came up but it did say "fuel level sensor". I reset the computer by disconnecting the battery, and the light has not came back on. but the car is still burning threw the gasoline. i have attempted to look the part up several times hoping i could replace the sensor myself, but all i could find was an oxygen sensor....is that what needs replaced?
