Front brake squeal while backing up
Brakes problem
2003 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles
I have a 2003 Taurus and I had the front pads done 20k
miles ago. When you back up the front drivers side brake
has a slight squeal. The rotor looks fine without any type or damage. The brakes work ok and it only seems
to happen when I am backing up? Any thoughts?
Thanks

BRAKE SQUEAL
Can be caused by vibrations between the disc pads and caliper, which can be cured by resurfacing the rotors, applying a nondirectional finish to the rotors after resurfacing, installing new pads and pad shims, or applying brake grease or noise compound to the backs of the pads.
