I need to replace the serpentine belt on my 2002 Taurus. When I put the new one on, it is too loose. The old belt and the new belt are the same size. Now what?

Most likely it is not routed properly. You should get a manual, such as Haynes, Chilton, etc. to give you the proper routing.

Hello. I too am in need of replacing my serpentine belt on my 2002 Taurus. I'm not sure where the tensioner is located and there is no routing diagram under the hood. Any help via email or post would be greatly appreciated!
