2002 Ford Taurus squeak in front of my engine
Noises problem
2002 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 130000 miles
I bought my ford with 87,000 miles on it and it has ran great although it has a small miss that I haven't figured out yet but there is a noise down low on the front (water pump side) of the engine. When I bought the car I had an internal cam sycronizer put in and it stopped for a while but I have replaced everything on the front of the engine and it still does it. If I go through water it is worse which leads me to beleave that it is external. Down by the harmonic balancer there is a sensor could that be where the noise is coming from and if so what is the name of that sensor?
