2002 Ford Taurus misfire on #3

This car has the 24 valve dohc and it pulls a code that said that the # 3 was misfiring the car doesnt do it when you clear code but comes back after a couple days also code for misfire on the first 1ooo rpm help please

Check the sparkplug, compression and injector for cyl no.3

Engine misfiring can be caused by worn or fouled spark plugs, a weak spark (weak coil, bad spark plug wire), loss of compression, vacuum leaks, anything that causes an unusually lean fuel mixture (lean misfire), an EGR valve that is stuck open, dirty fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, or even bad fuel.

I got the car from car max and have the top warranty that they could sell me so should I tell them the problem I haveing and that Im taking it to get looked at why I ask is that it is doing this before I should do the 60000 tune up and that it could be something more than a tune up problem so what do you think
