2002 Ford Taurus Car will not start

I changed the oil and then the spark plugs and wires and started the car and it was running rough and when i put in gear it stalls out and then i disconnected all the wires and plugs and then found i had the wrong spark plugs then i got the correct ones and made sure i had connected the wires correct and then it would not start and i changed the starter it still will not start it wont turn the engine it just clicks

Get the battery load tested-if it checks out okay-make sure its cleaned and tightened properly. Try again-don't work, start testing the ignition switch/fuses/park and neutral switch/starter relay and starter itself.
