2001 Ford Taurus HEATER

Heater problem
2001 Ford Taurus 6 cyl All Wheel Drive Automatic 66000 miles

I have had my radiator flushed 3 times and I do not have very much heat coming through the vents. It seems like as long as the car is going at least 40-45mph there is some heat but if I have to stop at a stoplight it's as if I have my ac on max.

The heater cores in these cars clog up with sludge very quickly, once this happens even flushing the cores is only a temporary fix. Either replace the core, or try clampling the long bypass hose that runs behind the engine.
