How do I replace an alternator on a 2001 Taurus, and is it difficult?

3.0 engine size
2v per cylinder is an easy job
4 valve per cylinder engine very difficult to do

GREAT
so you have the v6 with 2 valve
very easy to do
happy driving
Need a tool or a tester CHECK IT @
located above passenger's footwell

need manual CHECK IT @
