Heater problem
2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 138000 miles

my uncle is a mechanic but he only works under the hood and i have been told that the heater core in my car doesn't work but he cant take it in to his work to do it. so i was wondering if there was an inexpensive way of changing the core myself (with my uncle) without having to tear out my dashboard or the cheapest way to get it fixed by a professional who works behind dashes
