2000 Ford Taurus heater and A/C works intermitently
Heater problem
2000 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 196000 miles
I love this car, but the heating and A/C is driving me nuts. I have changed the thermostat, and flushed the system, but still the same, I sometimes get heat or air if I fiddle with the switch , which tells me that the heater core is not the problem, cause if it was plugged, you would never get heat, and this should not affect the A/C . sO I suspect the switch, does anyone know how to check or replace the switch . and can you tell me if this sounds like a possible solution to you .
I can not afford to take the car to the mechanic right now, so any help would be appreciated.
