REPLACING AC COMPRESSOR
1999 Ford Taurus
I HAVE A 1999 FORD TAURUS WITH THE TWIN CAM 3.0 ENGINE. THE COMPRESSOR IS LOCKED UP. THIS CAR IS A NIGHTMARE TO WORK ON WITH THIS ENGINE IN IT. I NEED TO REPLACE THE AC COMPRESSOR, ACCUMULATOR AND MANIFOLD AC HOSE SET. NOBODY SEEMS TO KNOW HOW TO GET THE COMPRESSOR OUT OF THIS CAR. IT IS REALLY HIDDEN AND WE CAN'T DECIDE IF IT COMES OUT FROM THE TOP OR BOTTOM AND HOW. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED AS IT IS HOT IN TEXAS THIS TIME OF THE YEAR.
