1999 Ford Taurus no heat
Heater problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 14800 miles
problem is when I try to increase the heat with the heater control switch on the dash panel I get no heat at all , i hear a clicking sound coming from under the dash panel , like something is loose that moves a door or something. during the summer when the air is working and i try to turn the switch to warmer i get no change in air temp it stays cold.

does it do it constantly or just when you move the dial?
i would be checking to see if the door has vaccum to it to operate it or if its electircally operated if thats gone out it will stop the blend door from working and cause it to bang around when hitting the dash.
