As I'm driving down the road with the crusie set I can hear the engine idle up ever so slightly and the RPM gage moves up a little at the same time (only about a half to one little mark). It's barely noticeable unless you are really listening. Sometimes you can feel it, but again, it's very slight. It only does it at highway speeds. Could it be a bad spark plug, transmission, or something else.

Or it may be nothing !
but I would check tranny fluid and make sure its clean and no burn smell to it
do you have check engine light on
and if so checking system for code may reveal the issue for you
have the barkes checks too

No "check engine" light whatsoever. It's kind of light the engine "misses" while it's going down the road. When it's sitting still idling it purrs real smooth. Only when going down the road that I can hear the engine rev up very slightly and see the RPM gauge move slightly up, and only for a few moments and then it goes back to normal. Kind of hard to explain. Just want to make sure transmission is not slipping or something serious like that. I will check the tranny fluid. Before I got the car it sat for a few months without being driven. Thanks so much for the info. GREATLY appreciate it. LOVE this web site!!!
