Heater problem
1999 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
I replaced the heater hoses on the car recently. The factory assy. had been removed by the first owner, and replaced with standard heater hose; was resting on the exhast manifold and burnt through. There are three different assy. for the v6 engine and I was sold the hoses for a flexfuel ohv engine. Since replacing, the heater quit working. My question is: are there one way valves inside the plumbing of the flexfuel hose assy. compaired to the non flexfuel hose assy. that I should have been sold by the dealer parts counter.[When I plugged off the crossover hose on my flexfuel assy. hot water then flowed through the heatercore.] thanks.
