I had my 99 ford taurus's rack and pinion and the power steering pump and pulley replaced two weeks ago. For a week and a half worked great but then a loud low pitched squeeling sound happens whenever i turn the wheels hard either direction for a few seconds and also when i turn on the a/c. Noise stops when a/c is shut off however. When i look at the serp belt when wheels turn it looks like it is stressed. Pulleys look to be in line, but i cannot figure it out. Maybe air compressor, but with wheels turning i dont know. I cant figure it out, any help is appreciated.
