1997 Ford Taurus no accelerate-over heat-knocking-leakage
Engine Mechanical problem
1997 Ford Taurus 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 90,000 miles
I was driving down the highway and car would not accelerate anymore it started knocking noise. I pulled over and noticed anti freeze leakage and my car was over heating. Oil was burnt up too. Before I shut car off it died. Everything went out. Had towed here charged battery added fluids when I turn key over engine makes a banging noise. Any ideas? thanks. Oh I have a 97 Ford Taurus. I have been lucky for over 10 years with this car and have never had a problem until now.
