At the speed between 60 to 70 mph I get a hopping in the front end. While giving the car gas between these speed the front feels like it is hopping. If I let of the gas off no Hop. I replaced the CV joints today still hops, I went and had the front Tires balanced again and it still hops. This evening on my way home I set the cruse on 67mph and the car did the hoping but when i was going up a hill and the transmision had to drop down a gear the hopping stopped. RPM,s went up to about 3200 verses flat land cruise of 2300 RPM. If I exceed the speed limit and go 75 mph the hopping stop or is very deminished. Any Ideas

Is the hopping rhythmic? I have a theory, but would like to know the answer to this question first. It doesn't feel like an engine miss, does it?

The engine is running fine. We put the car in drive applied the breaks ran the RPM's upto 2500 to 3000. We did the same thing in reverse thinking that it might be the motor mounts. The car showed no signs of bad motor mounts. The hopping is steady when it happens almost like a four four beat going down the road. Hopping or maybe even you could call it a lunge. could it be just a bad overdrive gear in the transmission?
