With no heat

Hi, I have a 96 Taurus, 3.0 V6 with 140,000 miles. Car runs good, just no heat. I have noticed in the forum there are other people with similar complaints that have replaced the heater core/tstat with no change. Also, system builds pressure with hoses hot at the radiator and fire wall, intakes and output. Is it possible its the heater control valve?

Appreciate any help?

Sounds like it or a flap/blend door stuck closed-or a cable problem.
