Transmission problem
1996 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

wife started car up and noticed that she had to put her foot into it to get the car to go....it would slowly get up to speed and everything seem to be alright....took to shop and thy say complete overhaul.....so i have a truck that does the same thing and a shop says 2 parts.. and it would be fine ...dont know....the taurus has 161500 miles on it .....what do you think the problem is ....i think they said code was po785 what does that mean 2 me ...... thanks
