Hello I have a 1996 ford taurus gl and I was wondering if I could put the sho engine in it without having to change the transmission or wiring

You can do it but is will require a major, expensive operation including wiring and computer. I would guess about 4K should do it.

Nope wont do that I will just put the original engine back in it and just buy a SHO taurus if I want that kind of power
