Electrical problem
1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic
Hello, my 1995 3.2L SHO does not want to start. I turn the key in the ignition, but the all I hear is a click and nothing happens. I’m sure the issue has to do with the starter. I changed it about five months ago. When I replaced it, I originally had the one that you would twist the wires together. The auto store gave me one that required that the wires be crimped together. I don’t know if that is relevant but my SHO was running just fine before I had t replace the starter with this new version. The man at the auto shop told me that Ford has issued that t those type of starters be used on the ’95 SHO’s. How can I get it to start?[img:16a4403d6f]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/572407_SHO_2.jpg[/img:16a4403d6f]
