Hello, I just bought a ford taurus and the engine seems to be having a slight rpm issue. when at idel the engine is constantly fluxuating, not very much just about 200 to 300 rpms and the exhaust smells like fuel. I had the engine code read and it said that the EGR valve came up with an error and it was unable to control the RPM. I found a broken vacuum hose on the EGR and replaced that I have also replaced the TPS (which had an error as well ) and IAC valve but that did not fix it. I am thinking possibley just a tune up (plugs wires, distributor cap, rotor) Or a vaccum leak and I correct? Thanks
