1992 Ford Taurus Repair Question

1992 Ford Taurus Vapor locking
1992 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive 147,00 miles
I deliver the mail in my car so it is start and stop for about 4 hours. On the days that my car stalled it was not hot. I would pull over and open my gas cap and loud hissing sound was made then I would lift the hood and sit for about half hour and be able to finsh my route. Also it seems to happen when I use certain gas from a certain gas station. I am thinking water in the gas but I need help on figuring out what else it could be and what I can do.
