RUNS HOT WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING R

1995 Ford Station Wagon

Engine Cooling problem
1995 Ford Station Wagon 6 cyl 70,000 miles

MY MECHANIC HAS CHANGED THE THERMOSTAT 3 TIMES AND IT STILL RUNS HOT. I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE HEATER COIL IS GOING OUT, BUT THIS SHOULD EFFECT THE TEMPERATURE ISSUE. SEVERAL YEARS AGO THIS HAPPENED TO THIS SAME CAR. FORD CHANGED THERMOSTATS AND A CONTROL BOARD BUT IT DIDN'T HELP. THE MOTOR ENDED UP THROWING A ROD AND I HAD TO REPLACE THE MOTOR. IT SEEMS TO TAKING THE SAME COURSE. (FYI THE RADIATOR WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR)

THANKS FOR YOUR TIME
