What is the firing order of my 1989 ford ranger 2.8L engine? It will crank but will only run for a few minutes and has little to no power. A mechanic suggested a complete tune up and to check to make sure the wires were connected in the correct firing order. I completed the tune up including new distributor but need the correct firing order to make sure the ones I disconnected were in the right order since I have seen no difference in how it is running.
