I have a 2 wheel drive 1990 Ford Ranger with a 2.9 liter engine.
I am changing the carrier bearing on the drive shaft.
the old one was all chewed up and the new one appears different on the front & back.
Does it matter which way it faces?

Thanks

I would think that it matters, but haven't done ne in a while. Can you match up the bracket to the body for any tell tale signs?
