The 1st sign of problem ABS light came on. Then after stopping at a rest stop the transmission shifted late on acceleration. Facts as of now after testing. The speedometer when it reaches 30 + - mph on slowing down drops to zero while still moving. After this happens starting up at a light in D the transmission stays in one gear ( low? ) If I DOWNSHIFT to 2 and wait until the speedometer reaches 30 mph ( GPS ) verified and shift to D all shifts are as normal. Transmission is full of correct fluid, good red color, no odor. If on slowing down and the shift ( manual ) seems rough the check engine light will come on, disconnect battery and reset, until I make another rough shift it stays off. After the rough shift on acceleration the OD light flashes then goes off. There is NO SLIPPING going uphill or level even with about 800 lbs of gravel in the bed. Noted ALL SHIFTS from stop done by manually shifting to 1 starting off shifting to 2 waiting until the speedometer is about 30 shift to drive and all is fine. OD works shifting up or down manually with the OD button. Above 30 mph when shifting the shifts are normal, slowing down the same until below 30 mph. Thinking ECM?? SHIFT POINT RELATED TO SPEEDOMETER. Thanks Al
