Abs light and brake light

Brakes problem
1999 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 91000 miles

I have a 99 ranger 2wd 3.0L V6. Today my ABS light as well as my BRAKE light came on. They stay on all the time. I made sure the e-brake wasn't stuck on. Also my battery light keeps blinking off and on. I replaced the battery, the voltage from the alternator is good. Is this a grouding issue? If so, where is the ground cable? When I restart the car, the ABS and BRAKE light come on right away and the battery light blinks off and on randomly.
