1998 Ford Ranger antifreeze smell

The vents in the truck are blowing smoke into
the cab of the truck and there is a very strong antifreeze smell. There is no fluid in the floor board so not sure if its the heater core or what else it could be.

Deffinetely the heater core! If its leaking very slowly there will be smoke and the smell, but not necissarly a puddle, on a ford once the "puddle" was no bigger then a pea. The only reason I saw it was because it had rubber floor mats on it that were dirty.
