No tail lights

1997 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Manual 165000 miles
I have brake lights, turn signals, reverse lights, and all fuses are good under the dash and under the hood. Headlights and front fog lights work too. But - no tail lights- tried new bulbs - no luck. What else can I try/check?
