I replaced cylinder head, head gasket. New gasket but a used head. It had 2 burnt vaulves that I replaced with two good vaulves from the old head. It run good for about 3-4 months, then it started idling rough so I took the cadallittic converter off and it was clogged. Could it be bunt vaulves or maybe the cam wore out not opening the vaulves all the way? What would you do?

Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following-inspect and test all the following below:
1. Defective spark plug.
2. Inadequate spark/coil, defective spark plug wire.
3. Lack of compression
4. False air leakage.
5. Faulty fuel injectors.
6. Insufficient fuel pressure.
7. Contaminated fuel.
8. EGR valve that is leaking.
9. Oxygen sensors.
10. Throttle position sensor.
