My muffler and tail pipe were so rusty they were about to fall off so I removed them from the car.
I'm not sure how to install a new muffler, and honestly this car is such a piece of junk at this point, i'm not sure I want to spend the money to get one installed.
My question is 'if I'm gonna be driving the car without a muffler and tail pipe, is there any kind of safety concern I should be aware of?'

Thanks

If you have an open pipe under your truck, you run the risk of carbon monoxide getting into the cab.
All the noise from the truck is likely to make your neighbors angry and lead to 'crowbarupsidethehead' syndrom ;-)
