1987 Ford Ranger Starting problem

1987 Ford Ranger 2.9 V6 % Speed 145000 miles.
Replaced Radiator due to overheating problem 4 months earlier. Started off hard starting when warm, than cranks but won't start when warm, changed ing. module didn't fix problem, changed ign. pick up coil in distributor didn't fix problem, checked ignition coil when warm out of specs changed coil didn't fix problem. Fuel pump quit working replaced pump didn't fix problem. Checked codes EGR Valve not opening code checked EGR valve stucked replaced valve, replaced high pressure fuel pump and filter fixed problem for about two days, drivig home from work truck died than restarted right away ran good for four blocks than died and would not reastart for about five minutes or so drove home one mile would not restart for about 3 to 4 hours. 3 days latter drove one mile shut off for two minutes would not restart for 5 minutes.

Recheck the fuel system pressure.

When it dies and you attempt to restart do you hear the fuel pump come On when key is in On position.

Fuel pressure is 40 psi both fuel pumps are running
