I have a 1997 Ford Probe with 80,000 miles. It has the 4cyl dual overhead cam. When I tried to adjust the timing, I pulled the spout connector and the timing would not adjust. I can move the distributor against both stops and it will not change the timing. Also the engine rpms will hang up around 1200 rpm for about 30 seconds before returning to the set idle speed. Any solutions? Thanks
