Hi and thanks in advance for any help you might have. I have an 89 Ford Probe LX with automatic transmission. On the way home from work yesterday the digital instrument cluster went black as well as the transmission has stopped shifting. I have looked over the engine compartment and haven't found anly loose ground wires etc. I also checked every fuse I could find and they all seem ok other than the one for the cigar lighter, which I replaced without reward. Should I look anywhere specific for the problem, short of pulling the steering wheel and romoving the cluster itself? Thanks again for any help
