i have a 1996 ford probe GT 2.5l v6 with 119K miles on it.
the other day it just failed to start. i tried to jump it, the engine attempts to turn over just fine when jumping but when i unhook the jumper cables it starts to wind down like the battery is dead. but i still cant jump it off... i think its an alternator issue but with the costs of having them shipped to Europe i wanted to check and make sure first...

Maybe the battery is sulfated won't take a charge or the alternator's voltage regulator is gone.

Have the battery load tested to include the alternator. These checks will decide which is failing

HTH Good Luck!
