Can't get the speed up.

Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Ford Probe 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 189000 miles

When I get up to about 30 mph my car starts to stall. Then in 2nd it gets to 45mph ect. i only can get the vehicle up to 60 mph. The car has been sitting up for about a year due to this issue and before that it sat up for about six months.

Lack of acceleration,chugging,hesitating,bogging,misfiring etc. could be caused by one of the following below:

Oxygen sensor.
Catalytic converter.
Fuel injectors dirty/sticking.
Mass airflow sensor/Airflow meter.
Throttle position sensor.
Crankshaft position sensor
Knock sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor.
EGR Valve
Fuel pressure regulator leaking or defective fuel pump.
False air leakage.
Fuel contamination.
Foul/defective spark plugs.
Open spark plug wires.
Ignition coil/Coil packs defective.
Incorrect ignition timing.
Cap and rotor.

Note:If it doesn't apply disregard it.
