1995 Ford Probe barely goes..
I can barely get my 1995 Ford Probe SE (automatic) with 130,000 miles to go 70 MPH ... if I floor the car it will barely move...I have to ease into pressing the gas to get it to accelerate fairly and even then it's not a real significant acceleration...it's almost impossible to get the RPM up to 5 grand.
I was thinking it might be the Fuel Filter, Pump or CAT but I changed the fuel filter and that wasn't it.. and I'm having doubts if its the CAT because there's no smoke coming out the end....perhaps there's a clog in the CAT or tailpipe and I guess that would cause the slow acceleration?
I have no other ideas though ive never dealt with a similar situation..

Check exhaust back pressure to determine if it's the cat could be a throttle position sensor too.
